Here we are in front of a miniature camera , which some describe as a spy. The manufacturer chose the police camp !
And yet there was found no trace of the use by the police ...
Robust metal camera, compact , it uses a film placed in a cassette for loading in daylight. 12 views 18 x 28 mm are recorded by a toothed wheel engraved 1 to 12.
The settings are very basic , the time exposure and instant exposure of unknown value that is actuated in either position to cock the trigger. Shooting is performed when operating the lever which move apart the superb safety flap which shows the manufacturer logo. The aperture adjustment is controlled by the slider visible on the front . It is pierced with two holes .
Habituation of the photographer played a key role , both for the exposure and for the rather dark viewfinder .
Was the Expo Police Camera a strategic object, indiscreet or just a gadget as we would say today , like the watch from the same manufacturer ?
